In this position, you will steer the strategic direction of the food and non-food assortment. At the same time, you will be responsible for the economic development, coordination with internal interfaces, and collaboration with suppliers.
Your responsibilities
- Strategically develop food and non-food assortments
- Lead the department technically and disciplinarily
- Continuously review the economic performance of the assortment
- Select suppliers, assortments, and partners
- Negotiate and finalize prices and terms
- Coordinate closely with marketing and sales
- Coordinate collaboration with suppliers
- Monitor revenues, margins, and key figures
- Translate analyses into concrete actions
- Take responsibility for budget and results
Your profile
- Completed studies in business and commerce
- Comparable education is also recognized
- Several years of experience in category management required
- Experience in assortment management within a retail company required
- Leadership experience with team responsibility
- Negotiation proficiency
- Assertiveness
- Willingness to travel throughout Austria approximately 70%
- Knowledge in the petrol station industry advantageous
- Required knowledge in category management or assortment management
