For this executive position in procurement, we are looking for an experienced individual to take responsibility for both operational and strategic procurement. The focus is on developing and optimizing procurement processes and leading a team.
Your responsibilities
- Assume overall responsibility for operational procurement
- Carry overall responsibility for strategic procurement
- Ensure material supply at optimal costs
- Guarantee quality standards and delivery reliability
- Coordinate and lead the procurement team
- Foster employee potential
- Establish clear structures and responsibilities
- Question and improve procurement processes
- Efficiently and digitally advance interface processes
- Analyze procurement markets
- Monitor price and cost developments
- Develop supplier and product group strategies
- Negotiate terms and framework agreements
- Ensure supply security with production and order processing
- Proactively monitor material stocks
Your profile
- Several years of experience in procurement in a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Technical background in procurement experience is desirable
- Commercial or technical basic education
- Further education in procurement or supply chain management or equivalent qualification
- Understanding of production processes
- Knowledge of cost structures
- Analytical understanding of procurement markets and price developments
- Communication and motivational skills
- Ability to develop employees
- Proficient in ERP systems, ideally ABAS
- German-speaking communication with suppliers
- English-speaking communication with suppliers
