You will take on the comprehensive management of the purchasing, logistics, and supply chain management areas. You will strategically and operationally control and develop procurement processes and material flow chains. Your role also includes leading and further developing the respective teams.

Your responsibilities

Overall responsibility for purchasing, supply chain, logistics, and production planning
Strategic advancement of procurement processes.
Optimization of supplier structures and inventory management
Ensuring sustainable and timely material supply
Optimization of the value creation and material flow chain up to customer delivery
Leadership and development of teams with a focus on performance and collaboration
Development and implementation of purchasing strategies for cost and quality improvement
Management of KPI systems and derivation of effective measures
Budget planning and responsibility for results and productivity goals
Collaboration with management, production, sales, and international partners
Initiation of digitalization and optimization projects in the supply chain
Management of escalations in critical purchasing and logistics issues

Your profile

Proven leadership experience in purchasing and supply chain management within an industrial company
Completed technical or commercial education
Proven successes in the further development of purchasing organizations
Professional experience in operational logistics
Ability to develop, qualify, and promote teams
Strong communication skills and visionary leadership capability
Strong negotiation and assertiveness skills
Entrepreneurial thinking
Hands-on approach and organizational skills
High analytical abilities and KPI affinity
Negotiable German proficiency
Fluent English skills at negotiation level
