In this role, you will lead a Group Accounting team both technically and disciplinarily and be responsible for international corporate accounting. You will ensure reliable financial reporting and, together with your team, optimize financial processes and closing procedures within the corporation.

Your responsibilities

Technical leadership of the Group Accounting Team
Disciplinary leadership of employees in Group Accounting
Support for international corporate entities in accounting and reporting matters
Coordination of monthly closings
Management of annual financial statements
Ensuring the quality of financial data
Compliance with group-wide accounting standards and reporting guidelines
Participation in budget preparation
Preparation of financial reports and key figures
Analysis of variances and preparation of decision-making foundations
Optimization and digitalization of accounting processes
Standardization of reporting procedures
Leadership of cross-departmental financial projects
Participation in the development of systems and processes used

Your profile

Completed commercial education at university level or equivalent
Comprehensive qualification in accounting, financial statements, or finance
Several years of relevant professional experience in corporate accounting or corporate controlling
Experience in an internationally operating company
Leadership experience with technical and personal staff development
Deep knowledge in accounting and financial statements
Practical experience with monthly and annual closing processes
Very good Excel skills
Knowledge of SAP FI/CO is an advantage
Very good German language skills
Excellent English skills
Structured and analytical approach to work.

Strong communication skills
