Head of Land Transport

• Overall responsibility for national and international land transport
• Planning and managing land transport budgets
• Monitoring costs and results including variance analyses
• Preparing monthly forecasts and monitoring KPIs
• Managing and developing strategic key accounts
• Conducting annual discussions and tariff negotiations
• Acquiring new customers in the field of land transport
• Preparing calculations for parcel, LTL, and FTL freight
• Handling international tenders within tender management
• Technical and disciplinary leadership of a team with more than ten employees
• Developing employees within your area of responsibility
• Realigning and optimizing transport routes and lines
• Improving transport processes
• Ensuring compliance with quality standards
• Escalation management to address issues

• Degree in freight forwarding or logistics services or a comparable study program
• Several years of experience in national and international parcel traffic
• At least three years of leadership experience as a team, department, or division leader
• Extensive knowledge in budget planning and management
• Experience in calculating transport services
• Knowledge in quality management
• Experience in customer care and key account management
• Structured, decisive, and economically minded personality
• Authentic and motivating leader with a focus on results
• Very good German language skills
• Good English language skills
• SAP knowledge is an advantage.
