Lead and optimize all production processes with a focus on timely delivery, quality, and cost-effectiveness. Responsible for production planning, team leadership, continuous improvement, and cross-department collaboration.
Your responsibilities
- Develop and implement a production plan in line with business priorities and customer commitments.
- Continuously monitor production progress.
- Proactively identify and resolve bottlenecks.
- Balance capacities and available resources.
- Ensure on-time delivery while adhering to quality and cost targets.
- Lead the mechanical assembly.
- Lead the electrical assembly.
- Oversee commissioning and testing activities.
- Manage internal logistics within the production area.
- Ensure efficient utilization of personnel, machinery, and equipment.
- Coordinate production priorities.
- Analyze and optimize production flow.
- Lead, coach, and develop production supervisors, managers, and team leaders.
- Support workforce planning and recruitment measures together with HR.
- Manage the production budget and monitor labor productivity.
Your profile
- Technical education or university degree.
- Preferred: Degree in mechanical engineering or industrial engineering.
- Several years of leadership experience in industrial production.
- Ideally, experience in the machine tool or mechanical engineering industry.
- Solid knowledge in production planning.
- Experience in assembly processes.
- Experience in shop floor management.
- Knowledge in operational excellence.
- Experience with lean manufacturing.
- Experience in process optimization.
- Proven leadership skills.
- Structured, hands-on work approach.
- Experience with ERP systems
- SAP knowledge is an advantage.
- Good English language skills
