Head of Mechatronics Department

• Management of the development department for mechatronic systems with a focus on electrical/electronic and software
• Leadership of the development of braking and hydraulic systems
• Promotion of basic and series development considering current technologies
• Definition and implementation of technical modules and standards
• Creation of medium- and long-term technology roadmaps and innovative concepts
• Approval of component specifications, factory standards, and testing results
• Ensuring compliance with standards and legal product execution
• Management of customer-specific adaptation developments in client projects
• Coordination with suppliers and development partners
• Further development of internal department processes, methods, and systems
• Ensuring adherence to project goals regarding time, cost, and quality
• Cross-departmental coordination with core engineering areas and product line development
• Professional representation of the department in control committees and panels

• Completed technical degree (TU/FH) ideally focusing on electrical/electronic, mechatronic, or automotive engineering
• Several years of experience in the development of electrical, electronic, or mechatronic vehicle systems
• In-depth knowledge of common standards such as FuSi and Spice
• Extensive knowledge in automotive engineering, specifically commercial vehicle technology
• Experience in leading and managing teams
• Strong communication skills and strategic thinking
• Initiative and goal-oriented work approach

• Proficient German skills in spoken and written form
• Fluent English skills, both spoken and written
