Head of Production for Plant Engineering
You will lead production in a plant and steel/apparatus construction environment. You are responsible for personnel management, production planning and control, as well as maintenance and the organization of inspections.
Your responsibilities
- Leading a manufacturing team of 30–40 employees
- Conducting personnel training and instructions
- Resource planning for production
- Planning production workflows
- Management and control of manufacturing processes
- Ensuring and coordinating maintenance of machines and equipment
- Organizing and coordinating recurring inspections
- Establishing and implementing a stable two-shift operation
- Assuming overall responsibility for coordinated production flow
- Direct reporting to management
- Participation in the management team
- Active exchange and alignment with design, purchasing, and project management
Your profile
- Completed technical education in mechanical engineering (HTL/FH)
- Completed technical education in manufacturing engineering (HTL/FH)
- Completed technical education in metal technology (HTL/FH)
- Several years of professional experience
- Several years of leadership experience
- Motivating interaction with people
