Head of Accounting & Controlling
We are seeking an experienced leader for the Accounting and Controlling department. You will head a small finance team and be responsible for accounting and financial reporting. Additionally, you will manage controlling processes and assist management with financial inquiries.
Your responsibilities
- Provide technical and disciplinary leadership to a three-member finance team
- Promote the further development of the finance team
- Take responsibility for accounting
- Prepare monthly financial statements
- Prepare quarterly financial statements
- Prepare annual financial statements
- Ensure accounting for provisions
- Conduct accounting for accruals
- Be responsible for the representation of fixed assets in the financial statements
- Ensure accounting for intercompany transactions
- Ensure accounting for inventory
- Manage closing processes in the JDE system
- Perform account reconciliations in the OneStream system
- Coordinate collaboration with auditors
- Coordinate collaboration with tax advisors
Your profile
- Completed studies or equivalent training in accounting, controlling, finance, or business administration
- Several years of experience in a leading accounting and/or controlling role
- In-depth knowledge of Austrian accounting law
- In-depth knowledge of Austrian tax law
- Comprehensive knowledge of Austrian tax law
- Experience with annual financial statements
- Experience in group reporting
- Experience in budgeting
- Experience in forecasting
- Leadership experience in team management
- Strong hands-on mentality
- Confident handling of ERP systems
- Proficient with reporting systems
- Knowledge of the JDE system is an advantage
- Knowledge of the OneStream system is an advantage
