We are seeking an experienced executive to lead the Clinical Trials Austria initiative. This position is responsible for the development and sustainable implementation of a nationwide platform to promote clinical studies in Austria. The role includes networking with various stakeholders and the strategic advancement of the research ecosystem.
Your responsibilities
- Responsibility for the design and development of Clinical Trials Austria
- Sustainable establishment of the initiative to strengthen clinical research in Austria
- Development of a robust governance and organizational model
- Coordination of key stakeholders from politics, authorities, science, healthcare, industry, and patient associations
- Coordination with an interministerial steering group
- Development and implementation of strategic measures to improve conditions for clinical trials
- Conducting analysis and benchmarking projects at a national and international level
- Further development of national standards and innovative process designs
- International networking with best-practice countries
- Building and leading a small platform team
Your profile
- Completed university studies with relevant qualifications such as a PhD or MBA
- Many years of professional experience in the clinical study ecosystem or a similar field
- Experience in a leadership role preferred
- Excellent knowledge of the Austrian clinical research landscape
- Comprehensive knowledge of national and international regulatory frameworks
- Experience managing complex multi-stakeholder projects
- Confident and persuasive demeanor
- High integration capability and diplomatic skills
- Solution-oriented and organized working style
- Strong decision-making and implementation skills
- Dynamic and proactive personality with a hands-on mentality
- Excellent German and English skills
