We are seeking an executive to lead a working group focused on thermal energy storage. The role involves managing projects and developing innovative storage technologies in the energy sector.
Your responsibilities
- Technical leadership of the thermal energy storage working group
- Organizational management of the team
- Strategic planning of the working group
- Methodical design of research approaches
- Personnel development of the group
- Identification of technological challenges
- Derivation and definition of research questions
- Development of sustainable energy storage solutions
- Leadership of national research projects
- Leadership of international research projects
- Integration of heat storage technologies with conversion technologies
- Collaboration with technology providers and energy suppliers for project acquisition
- Presentation of research results at professional conferences
- Publication of results in professional journals
- Supervision of project meetings
Your profile
- Completed university degree in energy technology, mechanical engineering, process engineering, physics, or a related field
- Experience in project management
- Experience in project acquisition
- Technical understanding of thermal energy systems
- Leadership experience in both technical and personnel aspects
- Excellent German language skills, both spoken and written
- Excellent English language skills, both spoken and written
- Strong communication skills
- Organizational talent
- Team player
- Presentation skills
- Experience in building and maintaining international research networks
- Interest and enthusiasm for challenging projects and innovative ideas
