For the position of Accountant, we are seeking an experienced professional to independently manage the ongoing bookkeeping and the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements. You will also be responsible for contributing to forecasts, budget planning, and reporting.

Your responsibilities

Independent handling of ongoing bookkeeping up to the trial balance
Assistance in the preparation of forecasts
Participation in budget planning
Preparation of reports
Preparation of monthly financial statements according to UGB
Preparation of annual financial statements according to UGB
Participation in accounting projects
Processing of electronic payments
Preparation of various reports (e.g., VAT pre-registration)
Timely submission of reports (e.g., Statistics Austria)

Your profile

Completed commercial education (e.g., HAK, university, FH)
At least three years of professional experience in a similar position
Completed accounting exam
Ideally, additional qualification in accounting
High accuracy and structured working style
Ability to work independently
Hands-on mentality
Willingness to actively shape and develop processes
Good knowledge of Excel
Experience with financial software (e.g., BMD NTCS, Workday)
