(Senior) Manager Tax Technology

• Lead tax technology projects end-to-end, ensuring quality, budget, and timing.
• Translate tax requirements (e.g., VAT, CIT, CbCR, Pillar 2) into functional and technical concepts.
• Oversee technical implementation together with IT, finance, and tax.
• Assist in the selection, integration, and development of modern systems and third-party tools in cloud environments.
• Create designs and specifications for tax IT solutions.
• Conduct testing phases and provide go-live support.
• Lead and coach (sub-)teams, and build best practices and templates.
• Manage stakeholders, risks, and decision-making processes in complex projects.
• Identify new opportunities and participate in proposal processes.
• Contribute thought leadership, such as developing AI use cases in tax/finance processes.

• Several years of relevant professional experience (approx. 6–10 years) in tax technology, tax transformation, or similar finance/ERP projects (consulting or in-house).
• In-depth understanding of tax processes.
• Experience in implementing tax processes in systems and data processes.
• Experience in designing, specifying, testing, and providing go-live support for solutions.
• Experience in ERP-related transformation contexts, especially in the finance/integration environment.
• Knowledge of tax applications and associated third-party tools.
• Comprehensive project management expertise in managing stakeholders, risks, and decision-making processes.
• Strong consulting and communication skills at a senior level, with experience in moderation and presentation.
• Experience in business development, such as participation in proposal processes, network building, or revenue contribution.
• Leadership experience in managing and coaching (sub-)teams and building know-how.
