Head of Warehousing

Responsibility for the strategic alignment and operational management of warehousing with a focus on network optimization, capacity planning, and leadership at the regional level. Central to this role is ensuring budget and KPI governance, as well as upholding cross-regional quality standards and seamless integration with sales and other departments.

Your responsibilities

Critically evaluate and systematically assess the existing AT/CEE external warehouse network
Oversee long-term site optimization
Plan and manage capacity scaling of warehouses as needed
Assume disciplinary leadership of regional managers
Establish a unified leadership culture and further develop regional managers
Carry consolidated budget responsibility for the warehousing sector
Continuously monitor performance and cost KPIs
Define cross-regional quality and audit standards
Conduct site and calibration audits with regional managers
Manage interfaces as a key sparring partner for the sales department in expansion projects

Your profile

Completed studies in logistics, supply chain management, or business administration, or a comparable education
At least 5–7 years of relevant professional experience in logistics and warehouse environments
Ideally several years of leadership experience in a comparable management role
Experience in managing complex networks
Experience with budget responsibility in warehousing
Experience in targeted KPI control
Fluent in German
Fluent in English
Strategic thinking ability with a strong sense of responsibility
Analytical, structured, and solution-oriented working style
