We are seeking an experienced leader to head the Laboratory and Technology division. You will be responsible for economic processes, product development, and quality assurance in the laboratory sector. At the same time, you will lead a team of technologists and lab technicians, fostering technical advancement.
Your responsibilities
- Economic management of the Laboratory and Technology department
- Implementation of the corporate strategy in coordination with management
- Optimization of formulation costs in compliance with applicable standards and guidelines
- Evaluation and introduction of new concept ideas
- Development of special construction materials
- Development of new concrete products
- Support for the sales team in customer relations
- Support for the sales team in supplier relations
- Leadership and development of the team of technologists and lab technicians
- Ensuring quality in ready-mix concrete, sand & gravel, and environmental technology
- Representation of the company in expert committees
- Participation in the creation and adjustment of standards and guidelines
Your profile
- Completed technical degree, e.g., Civil Engineering, Geology, or Materials Science
- At least five years of leadership experience with comprehensive responsibility
- Experience in the construction materials industry or related sectors
- Knowledge in the development and shaping of standards and guidelines
- Business management know-how
- Good knowledge of the regional market
- Strong connection to the region
- High level of self-responsibility
