For this position, we are seeking an experienced leader to take on functional and disciplinary responsibility for a CNC manufacturing area. The focus is on managing quality, productivity, and costs, as well as developing the staff.

Your responsibilities

Assuming functional leadership of a CNC manufacturing area
Disciplinary leadership of the production team
Ensuring target achievement in quality, delivery reliability, productivity, and costs
Planning capacities and resources for the manufacturing area
Designing and optimizing manufacturing processes
Identifying process improvement opportunities
Promoting team accountability
Professional and personal development of employees
Collaborating with adjacent departments to solve challenges
Participating in process improvements, investment decisions, and the introduction of new manufacturing technologies
Decision-making as a leader and involving the team
Supporting the team in solving technical problems
Actively contributing to leadership and collaboration in the area
Working outside the shift schedule with a focus on leadership tasks

Your profile

Technical education, e.g., apprenticeship, master craftsman or foreman training, or HTL
Experience in CNC milling technology or machining production
Initial or extensive leadership experience in a production environment
Technical understanding of manufacturing processes
Competent assessment of technical topics
Clear and fair communication as a leader
Decision-making ability in leadership
Team-oriented involvement of employees
Willingness to step in practically when needed
Ability to actively shape leadership, collaboration, and processes
Experience in capacity and resource planning and control
Competence in process optimization and improvement
