You will lead production planning and work preparation, ensuring timely, cost-effective, and quality-oriented production planning. Core tasks include coordinating capacities and materials as well as continuously optimizing manufacturing and planning processes.

Your responsibilities

Professional and disciplinary leadership of production planning and work preparation
Ensuring timely, cost-effective, and quality-compliant production planning
Creating, maintaining, and optimizing work plans, bills of materials, and manufacturing documents
Planning capacities and resources
Coordination with production, purchasing, design, and order processing
Ensuring material availability and supporting production control
Analyzing and continuously improving production and planning processes (KVP, Lean, standardization)
Participation in investment, make-or-buy, and manufacturing depth decisions
Introduction and development of ERP/PPS systems and key performance indicator systems
Calculating production costs and participating in the bidding process

Your profile

Completed technical or commercial education (TU, FH, HTL, or equivalent) in industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, production technology, or a related field
Several years of professional experience in work preparation/production planning
Experience in mechanical or plant engineering (ideally)
Strong leadership skills in an industrial environment, entrepreneurial thinking, and a hands-on mentality
Excellent understanding of manufacturing processes, production methods, and workflows
Proficient in ERP/PPS systems and MS Office
Analytical, structured, and solution-oriented working style, as well as assertiveness, communication skills, and team orientation
Ability for cross-departmental coordination and decisiveness under time and cost pressure, with a high sense of responsibility and resilience
Fluent German and good written and spoken English skills
Willingness for occasional business trips
