You are responsible for the overall electrical engineering and lead a team in electrical design and software development both technically and disciplinarily. Your main responsibilities include defining the overall technical architecture, standardizing hardware and software solutions, and managing complex development projects to production readiness.

Your responsibilities

Assume overall responsibility for the electrical engineering department
Technical and disciplinary leadership of the electrical design and software development team
Develop the team further through targeted support and skill building
Define and advance the overall technical architecture
Standardize hardware and software solutions
Manage and implement complex development projects from concept phase to production readiness
Ensure the achievement of technical, quality, and schedule objectives
Coordinate with mechanical development, digitalization/smart products, service, and production
Design modern development and interface processes
Establish scalable engineering standards and advance machine control as a core technology

Your profile

Completed studies in electrical engineering, automation technology, or a comparable technical education
Several years of experience in (special) machine or plant construction in the field of electrical engineering/automation
Leadership experience in technical teams (team leader, group leader, or deputy leadership)
Experience in standardization, architecture topics, or engineering process design
Basic understanding of PLC and automation technology
Knowledge in drive technology and control architectures
Confident handling of CAE systems (e.g., EPLAN)
Understanding of standards and guidelines
Knowledge in safety and OT security topics
Structured, decisive personality with clear communication and fluent German as well as very good English skills
