IT Business Analyst

• Analyze, document, and optimize business processes and IT system landscapes.
• Capture, analyze, and specify functional and technical requirements.
• Create user stories, functional specifications, and technical specifications.
• Analyze data models, data structures, and data flows.
• Perform data analyses and support the definition of data quality requirements.
• Support integration projects and define interface requirements (APIs, web services, batch processes).
• Evaluate requirements in terms of technical feasibility, effort, and business value.
• Support development and test teams during implementation.
• Create data mappings and document technical solution designs.
• Contribute to digitization, migration, and transformation projects.
• Work closely with software development, architecture, product management, and operational departments.
• Support system and acceptance testing (User Acceptance Testing).
• Actively participate in and conduct 3rd-level support for products.

• Completed studies in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Data Science, or comparable education.
• 3 to 5 years of professional experience as an IT Business Analyst, Requirements Engineer, or System Analyst.
• Experience in analyzing complex IT systems and business processes.
• Solid understanding of data structures, data models, and data flows.
• Very good SQL skills and experience with databases.
• Experience with REST APIs, interfaces, and integration projects.
• Knowledge in requirements engineering and business analysis.
• Familiarity with agile methods (Scrum, Kanban) as well as Jira and Confluence.
• Experience with test management and user acceptance testing is a plus.
• Knowledge of BPMN, UML, or similar modeling standards is an advantage.
• Analytical thinking and strong problem-solving skills.
