Head of Operations

• Conduct regular quality checks at the locations
• Evaluate standards from a guest's perspective
• Together with the teams, derive and implement specific improvement measures (hotel, breakfast, reception, back office)
• Lead the Facility, Purchasing, and Housekeeping departments
• Develop teams in Facility, Purchasing, and Housekeeping both professionally and personally
• Ensure efficient processes in maintenance and purchasing, including framework agreements and delivery conditions
• Monitor the economic performance of the locations
• Analyze key figures and identify deviations
• Initiate countermeasures when required
• Co-responsible for forecasts and actively contribute to budget planning
• Assume operational responsibility on-site during hotel director/operations manager absences or transitions
• Serve as the primary point of contact for hotel directors and coach less experienced leaders
• Ensure the consistent implementation of corporate identity in guest experience and appearance
• Consolidate operational issues from the locations, identify patterns, develop solutions, and disseminate best practices across sites

• Several years of experience in a leadership position in hospitality
• High willingness to travel within the D-A-CH region
• Strong leadership skills
• Ability to quickly integrate into new teams and locations
• Negotiation skills in dealing with external service providers
• Experience working with external service providers, ideally in housekeeping
• Strong quality awareness and attention to detail
• Communication skills, empathy, and a confident demeanor
• Ability to listen, coach, and make clear decisions when necessary
• Structured and solution-oriented working approach
• Ability to distill the essential from many individual topics
• Entrepreneurial thinking and understanding of business metrics
• Very good German language skills
• Excellent English skills
• IT affinity and experience with hotel software

• Full-time position
• Start date: immediate
• Assignment in hotels in Austria, Germany, and Switzerland
• Central management and administration office in Innsbruck
• Compensation based on qualifications
• Overpayment possible based on experience and qualifications
• Full-time basis with a 5-day week
• 14 salaries according to Austrian collective agreement (Kollektivvertrag)
• Work in a growing hotel group
