You will take on the leadership of the IT department for an international corporate group and assume overall responsibility for the operation, development, and security of the IT landscape. Key tasks include the strategic direction of IT as well as managing global IT projects and virtual teams.

Your responsibilities

Assume overall responsibility for the operation, development, and security of the group's IT infrastructure and application landscape.
Design and implement IT strategy on both national and international levels.
Implement and roll out group-wide IT systems and solutions (e.g., ERP, SAP-FICO, IT security).
Harmonize and standardize software and system landscapes.
Ensure IT quality standards and IT lifecycle management.
Manage strategic IT and transformation projects, including organizational and process optimizations.
Lead international and virtual IT teams as well as external partners.
Plan, manage, and be accountable for the entire IT budget, including personnel.
Establish and develop comprehensive IT risk management (security, backup, disaster recovery).
Contribute to the company's digital development through strategic IT initiatives.

Your profile

Completed higher education (university/college) in IT or a comparable field.
Several years of experience in a leading IT role in an international company.
In-depth expertise in IT infrastructure (networks, servers, clients, security).
Knowledge in application landscapes.
Experience with SAP, especially SAP-FICO, is advantageous.
Demonstrable success in project and process management in the IT environment.
Leadership experience with geographically distributed or virtual teams.
Excellent English skills
Strong intercultural competence.
Entrepreneurial thinking, high implementation ability, and result orientation.
