You take overall responsibility for the finance organization and lead the finance team. You drive the strategic and operational development of processes, reporting, and IT-driven automations.
Your responsibilities
- Overall management of the finance department (strategic and operational)
- Further development of financial processes
- Further development of financial structures
- Responsibility for budget planning
- Control of cost management
- Ensuring accurate accounting
- Leading accounting activities
- Creation and maintenance of financial reporting
- Leading the IT team and responsibility for the IT landscape
- Management of the ERP system rollout (Business Central)
- Promotion of digitalization and automation in finance
- Collaboration with management on the management board
- Providing precise analyses for decision support
- Direct reporting to the group
- Supporting projects from a financial perspective
Your profile
- Completed degree in business administration with a focus on finance or accounting, or a comparable qualification
- Many years of practical experience in finance and accounting
- Experience leading interdisciplinary teams
- Experience with large leadership spans (approximately 20 employees)
- Experience in process optimization
- Experience in promoting digitalization and automation
- Experience with reorganization measures and change management
- Experience in implementing ERP systems (e.g., Navision, Business Central)
- In-depth knowledge of accounting under UGB
- In-depth knowledge of accounting under IFRS
- Experience in dynamic corporate environments, ideally with retail/FMCG relevance
- Proactive, hands-on mentality with a high sense of responsibility
- Structured, analytical, and solution-oriented work approach
- Excellent communication skills
- Very good German and English skills
