Head of Finance & Controlling

• Assume overall responsibility for finance, accounting, and controlling, including subsidiaries
• Manage the 3-member finance team both professionally and disciplinarily
• Ensure the development of team members
• Actively participate in day-to-day operations
• Ensure accounting processes and take responsibility for monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Conduct consolidations and period-end closings, and manage group-wide financial processes
• Create and advance management and investor reports
• Compare forecasts with actual figures and derive concrete recommendations for action
• Conduct business, KPI, and performance analyses with a focus on control relevance
• Act as a sparring partner to the executive board and management team on financial matters
• Develop reporting, planning, and controlling processes further with an eye on scalability
• Lead or co-design central finance and system projects
• Drive automation and AI initiatives in the finance area and identify and implement suitable financial tools

• Several years of professional experience in finance/controlling and accounting in a leadership role
• Completed economic education or degree in economics
• Experience in management reporting
• Experience working with investors and owners
• Background in private equity is an advantage
• Experience in software or technology companies is an advantage
