Head of Business Controlling
As Head of Business Controlling, you lead the business controlling both operationally and strategically. You oversee planning, reporting, and financial analysis, and work closely with management and executives.
Your responsibilities
- Advise management on business management issues
- Support executives as a sparring partner in economic matters
- Establish and develop modern controlling processes
- Implement and optimize controlling tools and KPI structures
- Manage the forecasting process
- Manage the budgeting process
- Manage the planning process
- Take responsibility for monthly relevant controlling processes
- Take responsibility for quarterly relevant controlling processes
- Take responsibility for year-end relevant controlling processes
- Ensure quality assurance in finance and accounting in collaboration with the teams
- Continuously analyze financial performance and derive specific action recommendations
- Create meaningful management reports and reports for external stakeholders
- Be responsible for group reporting within the group framework
- Identify optimization potentials and present results to management
Your profile
- Completed business or commercial education or equivalent further training
- Several years of professional experience in controlling/finance
- Experience in leadership or project management roles (ideally)
- Very good knowledge of MS Excel
- Experience with BI solutions
- DATEV experience is an advantage
- German language skills at least C1
- English language skills at least B1/B2
- Strong analytical thinking
- High problem-solving skills
- Structured and precise working method
- Sense of responsibility
- Professional, service-oriented demeanor
- Hands-on mentality
- Teamwork ability and enjoyment in developing structures
