Leadership and strategic management of the investment sector with overall responsibility for the sustainable value development of the portfolio. Central tasks include representing ownership, supporting investment and M&A decisions, as well as leading and advancing the department.

Your responsibilities

Take overall responsibility for the strategic direction and value development of the investment sector
Actively shape and further develop a diversified investment portfolio
Fulfill the ownership role towards portfolio companies
Represent interests at the executive management, advisory board, and supervisory board levels
Identify strategic investment and acquisition opportunities
Evaluate company investments and create profitability analyses
Implement investment decisions and support M&A transactions
Advise the Board as a sparring partner on corporate development matters
Lead the investment sector, including organizational development and talent management
Coordinate decision-making processes for the Board and committees, ensuring governance, compliance, and reporting

Your profile

Several years of leadership experience in investment companies, M&A advisory, corporate finance, corporate advisory, holding company, or a comparable strategic management role
Proven experience in the development, management, and sustainable value enhancement of complex investments
Deep expertise in M&A
Deep expertise in business valuation
Deep expertise in corporate finance
Knowledge in value-oriented corporate management
Experience in collaboration with boards of directors, supervisory boards, advisory boards, and shareholders
Entrepreneurial thinking and strong strategic competence
Strong analytical judgment and high sense of responsibility
Confident demeanor with excellent communication and negotiation skills, high integrity, and decisiveness
