Business Area Manager HR-Operations & Payroll

• Leading and developing the HR operations team of 10 employees
• Overall responsibility for payroll for approximately 1,700 employees at the Graz location
• Ensuring accurate, high-quality, and timely payroll processing
• Responsibility for legally compliant and efficient time management, including standardization and digitalization
• Technical leadership in HR operations topics within HR IT and digitalization projects
• Driving the standardization and continuous optimization of HR operations processes
• Ensuring compliance with relevant legal requirements and internal guidelines
• Supporting employees and executives in a service-oriented and solution-oriented manner
• Preparing and analyzing HR key figures and evaluations to support decision-making
• Participating in the HR leadership team and engaging in cross-functional HR projects

• Completed education with a focus on human resources management, law, or economics
• Several years of professional experience in HR operations, payroll, or a similar role
• Several years of leadership experience
• Solid operational experience in payroll
• Experience in an international industrial company (desirable for payroll)
• Excellent knowledge of labor, social security, and income tax law
• Experience in the introduction, development, or optimization of HR systems
• Experience in designing efficient digital HR processes
• Strong service orientation and positive, audience-appropriate communication
• High quality standards and accuracy combined with a pragmatic, solution-oriented approach and initiative
