Lead a RAMS department with technical and organizational responsibility for safety, RAMS management, validation, and approvals. The central task is team leadership and representing the department to assessors, clients, and regulatory authorities.

Your responsibilities

Lead the Signalling RAMS department with approximately 20 employees.
Responsible for RAMS management in projects.
Conduct validations according to relevant CENELEC standards.
Coordinate and execute verification tasks.
Ensure information and cyber security aspects.
Create and maintain safety evidence documentation.
Manage quality management within the department.
Review and clarify general approval topics.
Organize departmental planning, task distribution, and progress monitoring.
Support approval activities with supervisory and regulatory authorities worldwide.

Your profile

Completed university degree in a field of engineering or information sciences (Diploma/Master's).
Many years of professional experience.
Experience with functional safety.
Knowledge of relevant railway standards (EN 50126, EN 50128, EN 50129, EN/TS 50716, TS 50701, ISO 27001, ISO 9001).
Knowledge of train control techniques (advantageous).
Current role as a RAMS manager, validator, verifier, or approvals manager is desirable.
Open, communicative, resilient, and goal-oriented personality.
High motivation to learn new technologies, development processes, and tools.
Experience in leading or managing teams.
Very good German language skills
