Senior Claims Handler Austria
We are seeking an experienced specialist in damage management to take on both operational and leadership roles. In this position, you will handle national and international motor vehicle claims and further develop customer relationships. Additionally, you will prepare for a future leadership position.
Your responsibilities
- Handle complex national motor vehicle claims
- Process international motor vehicle claims
- Handle Green Card claims
- Handle claims according to the 4th Motor Vehicle Directive
- Maintain and expand customer relationships
- Identify business opportunities
- Drive new business development
- Prepare for leadership responsibilities as Country Manager
- Take responsibility for commercial outcomes
- Take responsibility for operational processes
- Ensure financial results of the subsidiary
- Collaborate with legal specialists and insurance partners
- Communicate with the Austrian Motor Insurance Bureau
- Coordinate with country managers in 14 European locations
- Collaborate with partners in an additional 27 countries
Your profile
- Several years of experience as a Senior Claims Handler or similar
- In-depth knowledge of motor liability claims
- Experience with international claims is advantageous
- Professional German skills
- Professional English skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong stakeholder management
- Entrepreneurial mindset
- Proactive work attitude
- Ambitious goal setting
- Willingness to assume the role of commercial managing director
- Willingness to acquire a business license
