We are looking for a Head of Accounting (m/f/d) to oversee accounting and lead the bookkeeping team. You will coordinate the monthly and annual financial statements according to UGB and act as the central point of contact for accounting and tax issues.

Your responsibilities

Professional leadership of the bookkeeping team
Disciplinary leadership of the bookkeeping team
Further personnel development of the multi-member bookkeeping team
Preparation of monthly financial statements according to UGB
Preparation of annual financial statements according to UGB
Ensuring timely bookkeeping
Internal point of contact for bookkeeping, accounting, and tax issues
External coordination with tax advisors, auditors, banks, and authorities
Creation of a liquidity plan
Execution of the group financial statements according to UGB
Optimization of work processes within the team
Optimization of processes at interfaces with other areas
Participation in and implementation of further projects during company growth

Your profile

Completed commercial training
Completed accounting certification
Several years of relevant experience in accounting
Experience in consolidation according to UGB
Leadership experience in bookkeeping
IT affinity
Ability to quickly adapt to an ERP system
Competence in driving digitalization projects
Communicative teamwork skills
Assertiveness
