You have overall responsibility for the IT landscape of a special hospital and lead a small IT team. Your key tasks include developing the IT and digitalization strategy, ensuring operations in a hybrid cloud environment, and managing IT and digitalization projects.

Your responsibilities

Developing the IT and digitalization strategy
Ensuring secure, cost-effective, and highly available IT operations in a hybrid cloud environment
Leading and implementing IT and digitalization projects from planning to implementation
Operating and further developing the hospital information system (KIS)
Managing core clinical and administrative applications
Managing external IT service providers and the cloud provider, and monitoring service levels
Leading a small IT team (1–2 employees)
Assisting in operational IT operations and technical projects
Further developing IT processes, architectures, and standards
Ensuring information security, data protection, as well as backup, BC, and DR concepts

Your profile

Degree in computer science, business informatics, medical informatics, or equivalent qualification
Several years of professional experience in a responsible IT role
Experience in IT project and change management
In-depth knowledge of modern IT infrastructures with hybrid cloud, network, and security technologies
Experience in IT security, identity & access management, as well as data protection and compliance
Know-how in digitalizing business processes
Knowledge in architecture, budget, and vendor management
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
Structured and solution-oriented working approach
Initial leadership responsibility and knowledge of the healthcare sector are advantageous
