In this role, you will assume technical and organizational leadership of the IT infrastructure. You will lead various operational teams and ensure the stability of international IT and service operations. In doing so, you will continually develop processes, systems, and structures.
Your responsibilities
- Leadership of IT infrastructure and operations
- Management of operational teams: Data Center, Networking, Workplace Solutions, and Service Desk
- Ensuring a stable and high-performing international IT operation
- Management and continuous development of all IT services
- Adapting organizational models to increase efficiency
- Optimization of operational processes and structures
- Responsibility for budget, KPIs, and SLAs with a focus on quality and cost
- Management of external service providers and contract administration
- Consolidation of the service provider portfolio
- Participation in IT strategy and implementation of security standards
- Acting as a strategic contact for IT management and internal departments
Your profile
- Completed education in IT, IT management, or computer science
- Several years of professional experience in IT infrastructure
- Experience in a leading role and team management
- Knowledge in coordinating complex operational IT structures
- Experience in dealing with external service providers
- Competence in budget management and contract administration
- High competence in handling KPIs and SLAs
- Experience in manufacturing industry with international locations is an advantage
- Enthusiasm for modern IT organizations
- Ability for intercultural collaboration
- Clear and structured communication skills
- Strong organizational skills
