You will lead the finance and accounting team and be responsible for the budget, financial, and investment planning of a municipality. Key tasks include preparing budgets, budget amendments, and financial statements, as well as further developing the financial and controlling system.

Your responsibilities

Leading and developing the finance and accounting team
Responsible for budgeting and financial and investment planning
Preparing the budget
Preparing any budget amendments
Preparing the financial statements
Managing household finances and participating in budget execution
Managing loans
Managing investments and grants
Preparing analyses, key figures, and decision-making bases for politics and administration
Further developing the financial and controlling system

Your profile

Graduation from a higher economic school at Matura level
University or college degree with a background in business or economics (advantageous)
Several years of experience in finance, accounting, controlling, or treasury
Leadership experience or strong leadership skills
Willingness to provide services outside regular working hours
Austrian citizenship
For male candidates: military or civilian service already completed
Excellent numerical understanding
Analytical and conceptual skills
Structured, accurate work style, and sense of responsibility
