You are responsible for building and sustainably developing the Austrian sea freight business. Central to your role is the development of sales and organizational structures, as well as establishing long-term customer relationships.

Your responsibilities

Development and implementation of a sales strategy for the Austrian market and international freight forwarding business
Building long-term business relationships
Active acquisition of new customers
Maintaining and managing existing key accounts
Collaboration with international partners
Strategic and operational leadership and development of the team on site
Development of customized logistics solutions and products for clients in Austria
Preparation of proposals and participation in tenders
Assumption of revenue and profit responsibility based on relevant metrics
Monitoring and analysis of competition and market trends in Austria

Your profile

Completed commercial training in freight forwarding or logistics
Several years of experience in international or intercontinental freight forwarding
Proven success in establishing or expanding business activities in the logistics sector
Strong network with relevant decision-makers, suppliers, and partners
Leadership experience
Entrepreneurial personality
High level of initiative
Strong implementation skills
Sales orientation
Good German and English skills
