Head of Production in Mechanical Engineering

• Leading the transition from workshop mode to industrial production
• Managing approximately 15 employees both technically and disciplinarily
• Organizing the production process from planning to completion
• Creating and improving work plans, bills of materials, and manufacturing instructions
• Planning capacities for personnel and machines
• Optimizing the utilization of employees and machines
• Coordinating interfaces with design, development, procurement, logistics, sales, and external partners
• Driving continuous improvement measures in quality and productivity
• Reducing lead times through process optimizations
• Ensuring the timely completion of production orders

• Completed technical education (high school diploma to university degree) in mechanical engineering, mechatronics, industrial engineering, or similar.
• Several years of experience in production, work preparation, manufacturing planning, or production control
• Experience in mechanical engineering is desirable (ideally)
• Extensive knowledge in machining (milling, turning, drilling)
• Experience in creating and improving production documents
• Ability to plan capacity and optimize utilization
• Experience in coordinating interfaces with internal departments and external partners
• Leadership experience in a production or workshop environment is an advantage
