Leadership and overall responsibility for logistics with a strategic and operational focus. Central to this role are ensuring efficient material flows, optimizing processes, and leading and developing the logistics teams.

Your responsibilities

Assume strategic and operational overall responsibility for the logistics areas.
Disciplinary leadership of the logistics teams.
Targeted development of employees in the logistics teams.
Planning of logistics projects.
Organization of logistics projects.
Implementation of logistics projects.
Ensuring and implementing quality standards (e.g., 5S).
Definition of meaningful logistics key performance indicators (KPIs).
Analysis and reporting of logistics key performance indicators.
Optimization of internal and cross-departmental processes with a focus on lead times and service level.

Your profile

Completed education (ideal: relating to logistics/supply chain).
Several years of professional experience in logistics within a manufacturing company (ideally metal industry).
Proven leadership experience in managing and developing teams.
Proficiency in material flow planning.
Experience in defining, analyzing, and using KPIs as a basis for decision-making.
Strong hands-on mentality
Structured and independent working style
Reliable work approach.
High social competence.
Sense of responsibility and strong communication skills.
