You will take on the technical and disciplinary leadership of an interdisciplinary engineering team and be responsible for the planning and implementation of plant projects across all engineering phases. Central to this role is ensuring quality, timeliness, and efficiency, as well as structurally supporting the upcoming growth in engineering.

Your responsibilities

Lead an interdisciplinary engineering team of around 15 people both technically and disciplinarily.
Ensure projects are executed with high-quality standards.
Ensure projects are completed on time.
Ensure projects are implemented efficiently.
Oversee all ongoing projects from basic engineering to commissioning and handover.
Actively contribute to technical and technological issues.
Further develop structures, processes, and responsibilities in engineering.
Serve as a reliable technical point of contact for the team.
Support and structurally secure the growth from around 40 to up to 120 employees in engineering.
Collaborate closely with management, project management, procurement, as well as external clients and suppliers.

Your profile

Technical education in process engineering, technical chemistry, biotechnology, or mechanical and plant engineering.
At least 7 to 10 years of relevant experience in international plant engineering.
Proven expertise in process design or optimization
At least 2 to 3 years of leadership experience in a managerial or coordinating role.
Experience in international project business
Ideally, a connection to the energy industry or the biogas/biomethane sector.
Strong technical judgment
Strong hands-on mentality
Team-oriented, communicative personality with a sense of responsibility and the ability to enforce deadlines consistently.
Excellent German and English skills and willingness to travel internationally (approx. 10–20%).
