You lead a team of electrical designers and software developers, taking on both technical and disciplinary responsibilities. Central tasks include defining hardware and software standards, as well as managing projects from concept to production readiness. Additionally, you drive the development of machine control systems and coordinate interfaces with adjacent areas.

Your responsibilities

Technical and disciplinary leadership of a team of electrical designers and software developers
Encouragement of the professional and personal development of team members
Definition of standards for hardware and software architectures (e.g., EPLAN, TIA Portal, C programming)
Managing project planning from concept creation to production readiness
Ensuring timely project execution
Coordination with mechanical design
Alignment with Smart Products and Digital Solution teams
Collaboration with customer service and manufacturing to provide modular solutions
Further development of machine control in both hardware and software
Standardized provision of machine data for downstream systems

Your profile

Completed studies in electrical engineering, automation technology, or a comparable qualification
Several years of professional experience in electrical or software project planning in machine or plant engineering
Experience in standardization
Experience in a (deputy) leadership position is advantageous
Proficient use of common CAE systems (e.g., EPLAN P8, CREO, and SAP)
Sufficient basic knowledge of PLC programming and drive technology
Proficient handling of standards and regulations
Knowledge or training in the area of safety
Basic understanding of OT security and related requirements (e.g., CRA)
Solution-oriented decision-making, clear communication, and the ability to structure complex processes and set priorities; fluent German and very good English skills
