As Head of the Construction Department, you are responsible for managing and successfully implementing construction projects. You lead the team, coordinate resources, budgets, and schedules, and advise management on strategic and operational construction issues.

Your responsibilities

Leading and developing the Construction Department
Assume overall responsibility for the implementation of construction projects
Negotiate with external partners
Resource planning and management
Budget management and cost control
Scheduling and monitoring
Ensure quality standards
Advise management on strategic and operational construction issues
Promote cross-departmental collaboration and information flow
Optimize processes and develop new standards

Your profile

Completed technical training in construction (HTL Hochbau, University of Applied Sciences, Technical University, or equivalent)
Ideally, a Master Builder exam (optional)
Several years of professional experience in a comparable position with leadership responsibility
In-depth knowledge of project management
Knowledge in local site supervision
Proficient in MS Office
Proficient in MS Project
Fluent English skills, both spoken and written
Strong communication skills as well as assertiveness and negotiation skills
High willingness to travel
