Lead the product management and UX organization of a software portfolio with responsibility for strategy, portfolio, and market launch. You translate customer and market requirements into prioritized product decisions and ensure long-term product success through lifecycle management.

Your responsibilities

Defining the portfolio strategy
Setting product priorities
Establishing pricing and business models
Developing go-to-market plans
Leading and advancing the product management and UX organization
Coaching and succession planning for the team
Representing the customer perspective in product decisions
Prioritizing the backlog based on customer needs
Aligning with development, sales, and customer-facing teams
Managing the product lifecycle and initiating improvements

Your profile

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
MBA or advanced degree preferred
12–15 years of experience in product management
Proven success in industrial automation
Background in IDE software, hard real-time software, and engineering applications
Ability to define and defend product priorities based on customer needs and data-driven insights
Leadership experience with a focus on staff development, coaching, and succession planning
Experience in sales or application engineering is advantageous
Strategic mindset and ability to thrive in a dynamic environment
Excellent German and English skills; willingness to travel up to 40%
