Establishing and leading a Procurement and Strategic Sourcing organization with a focus on international supplier relationships and Outsourced Manufacturing Services. The goal is to develop and implement a sustainable procurement strategy to ensure quality, cost optimization, and supply security.

Your responsibilities

Building the Procurement and Strategic Sourcing department
Leading and continuously developing the department
Developing and implementing a forward-looking procurement and sourcing strategy
Managing international suppliers
Establishing sustainable supplier relationships focusing on quality, cost, and supply security
Setting up Outsourced Manufacturing Services
Selecting and developing external manufacturing partners
Independently conducting complex tenders
Conducting price, contract, and framework agreement negotiations
Developing modern procurement processes and implementing KPI and reporting structures

Your profile

Completed studies in industrial engineering, business administration, supply chain management, or a comparable qualification
Leadership experience in strategic procurement, procurement, or strategic sourcing in a manufacturing company
Experience in international supplier management (experience with China is advantageous)
Know-how in building procurement organizations, processes, and governance structures
Experience in developing and utilizing KPIs and reporting in procurement
Confidence in price and contract negotiations
Strong economic and analytical understanding
Exceptional communication skills and entrepreneurial mindset with high self-initiative
Assertiveness
Very good German and English skills and willingness to travel internationally
