Head of Group IT

• Overall responsibility for the IT strategy and organization of the international industrial group
• Leadership of around 30 employees in various IT teams
• Coordination and management of external IT service providers for operations, helpdesk, workplace, server, network, and security
• Management of the ongoing S/4HANA ERP transformation across all locations
• Analysis and consolidation of the existing application landscape and SAP in-house developments
• Monitoring architecture, resources, and costs for connecting all sites to the ERP system
• Planning and implementation of a new Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) system with clearly defined data flows
• Redesign and integration of logistics and warehouse systems
• Improvement of customer connectivity via EDI and reduction of lead times
• Development and further advancement of the Data & Analytics team
• Enhancement of data quality to support AI use cases
• Promotion and testing of AI applications with practical benefits
• Development of executives and accompaniment of change processes
• Ensuring quality, security, and adherence to service levels in cooperation with external partners
• Translating company priorities into concrete IT measures and progress monitoring across all locations

• Several years of leadership experience in IT, ideally in a larger industrial company with multiple locations
• Thorough understanding of ERP systems and their significance for production, logistics, and business processes
• Knowledge in SAP, especially regarding architecture and integration issues; SAP experience is advantageous
• Experience with IT governance, process optimization, and data management
• Competence in managing external IT partners and economic investment decisions
• Knowledge in cyber security and IT service management
• Completed IT-related studies or comparable qualifications with proven practice
• Ability to set priorities effectively and maintain course even in challenging situations
• Initiative in implementing new ideas for AI and digitalization considering data quality and benefits
• Comprehensive and transparent collaboration at eye level with specialist departments and company management
• Fluent language skills in German and English
• Willingness to travel approximately 10 to 15 percent
