Seeking an experienced executive in global procurement to centralize operations from previously decentralized structures. The focus is on developing strategies and consolidating purchasing activities across various business units. This position requires the design and implementation of a unified global procurement strategy.

Your responsibilities

Establishment and management of global procurement control between the holding company and business units
Development of a strategic procurement policy for various divisions
Consolidation and management of a diverse purchasing volume
Utilizing international sourcing markets to optimize purchasing conditions
Development and implementation of modern procurement strategies
Establishment of clear governance structures in procurement
Definition and implementation of transparent processes and decision-making bases
Identification and realization of synergies across organizational units
Alignment of different interests in matrix and divisional structures
Conducting negotiations with international suppliers
Ensuring supply security through strategic procurement decisions
Accompanying and implementing change processes in procurement

Your profile

Experience in a leading procurement role
In-depth knowledge of strategic procurement in an internationally influenced industrial, commercial, or service environment
Ability to analyze complex procurement landscapes
Experience with strategic sourcing and category management
Knowledge in supplier development and procurement excellence
Familiarity with international supplier markets in Europe and Asia
Experience with matrix and divisional structures
Negotiable German proficiency
Fluent English skills at negotiation level
Willingness to undertake international business travel
