Head of Game Design

Lead and further develop the game design team with responsibility for specifying new games and features. Key tasks include optimizing processes and ensuring quality, creativity, and time-to-market.

Your responsibilities

Draft content specifications for new games and features
Create functional specifications for new games and features
Coordinate specifications with the Studio Director and Compliance department
Coordinate patent and product clearance with the legal department
Lead the game design team both technically and disciplinarily
Act as a central interface to internal departments, international subsidiaries, and external partners
Analyze market and competitive trends to initiate new concepts
Initiate innovative game concepts and their further development
Establish and optimize processes and structures in game design
Present ongoing projects and strategic initiatives to relevant stakeholders

Your profile

Many years of experience in game design
Ideally, experience in the gambling industry or a transition from the gaming sector
In-depth understanding of game mechanics and user experience
Knowledge of regulatory frameworks
Extensive industry expertise and a keen sense for market and game trends
Experience in leading and developing teams
Ability to turn creative ideas into marketable products
Structured, solution-oriented leadership style
Strong communication and interface skills
Excellent German and English language skills, both spoken and written
