Leadership and operational responsibility for the accounting of all Austrian group companies, including managing a six-person team. The central task is ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant financial statements according to IFRS and Austrian UGB.

Your responsibilities

Leading and disciplinary development of the six-person accounting team
Assuming responsibility for the ongoing accounting of all Austrian group companies
Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual IFRS financial statements including annexes
Preparing annual individual financial statements according to Austrian UGB
Ensuring compliance with legal deadlines and accounting standards
Coordinating collaboration with auditors, tax advisors, and authorities
Aligning with controlling, group accounting, treasury, and tax
Managing and coordinating all accounting processes
Organizing and continuously optimizing accounting procedures
Taking responsibility for timely and accurate financial reporting

Your profile

Completed degree in business administration with a focus on accounting/finance or comparable qualification
Several years of experience in accounting
Experience in an international corporate environment is advantageous
In-depth knowledge of IFRS
In-depth knowledge of the Austrian Unternehmensgesetzbuch (UGB)
Experience in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
Proven leadership experience and experience in team development and motivation
Strong process knowledge and interest in process optimization and efficiency enhancement
Proficient in using ERP systems (Infor preferred) and MS Office
Excellent German and English skills, both written and spoken, as well as strong communication skills, initiative, and high sense of responsibility
