Leadership and further development of the cloud operations organization with responsibility for stable operation and quality of cloud and platform services. The central task is to design and implement a robust operating model, ensuring capacity, cost, and reliability.

Your responsibilities

Leading and further developing the Cloud Operations Team in a matrix setup
Prioritizing tasks and setting standards for delivery and quality
Building a Target Operating Model with a service catalog, governance, and KPIs
Ensuring stable operation of cloud and platform services (incident, problem, change)
Defining an operating model for self-service deployed workloads including handover criteria and runbooks
Ensuring operational responsibility in daily operations
Planning capacities, budget, and forecasting as well as developing cost models and optimizations
Driving automation and platform operations with Terraform, GitLab CI/CD, and ArgoCD
Managing Kubernetes and GKE environments with multi-cluster, lifecycle, and security aspects
Further developing monitoring, alerting, and reliability with Grafana and Dynatrace

Your profile

At least five years of leadership experience in Cloud Operations, Platform Operations, or Infrastructure
Experience in leading teams of around 10 to 15 members
Operational responsibility for cloud environments
Strong practical experience with cloud platforms
Ideally, experience with GCP and/or Azure; multi-cloud experience is a plus
Solid knowledge in Kubernetes operations, including cluster and workload management
Ideally practical experience with GKE
Hands-on experience with Terraform, GitLab CI/CD, and ArgoCD
Experience with monitoring and observability, such as Grafana and Dynatrace
Native-level German and fluent English skills
