Head of Clinical Trials

• Designing and establishing a national infrastructure initiative
• Developing a governance and organizational model
• Bringing together and managing key stakeholders
• Coordinating with the inter-ministerial steering group
• Deriving strategic measures to strengthen the framework conditions
• Implementing strategic measures to improve clinical trials
• Conducting analyses and international benchmarking
• Further developing national standards for clinical studies
• Shaping innovative processes for research-intensive trials
• Building and leading a small platform or project team

• Completed university degree
• Preferably postgraduate qualification (e.g., PhD or MBA)
• Extensive professional experience in the clinical trials ecosystem or a comparable environment
• Leadership experience is an advantage
• Excellent knowledge of the Austrian clinical research landscape
• Knowledge of national and international framework conditions for clinical trials
• Experience in setting up and managing complex multi-stakeholder projects or infrastructure platforms
• Solution-oriented, analytical, and organized work style with a hands-on mentality
• Strong decision-making and implementation skills
• Excellent German and English skills
