You will lead an established business unit, responsible for results, budget, and personnel. Central to this role is the combination of operational managerial responsibility with the strategic development of the service portfolio in the areas of railway service, maintenance, and infrastructure.

Your responsibilities

Take overall responsibility for a business unit
Ensure the business unit’s accountability for results
Conduct budget planning and management for the unit
Assume personnel responsibility and lead teams
Strategically develop the service portfolio
Shape offerings in railway service, maintenance, and infrastructure
Develop and motivate an interdisciplinary team
Expand existing customer relationships
Acquire new business opportunities and partnerships
Manage investment, digitization, and optimization projects

Your profile

Technical or economic education (HTL, FH, or university) with relevant connection
Several years of leadership experience in a technical service, infrastructure, or railway company
Several years of budget responsibility in a comparable environment
Knowledge in railway construction, track construction, or infrastructure projects
Expertise in railway operations
Experience in managing profit centers
Experience in implementing growth and change projects
Strong sales and negotiation skills
Entrepreneurial thinking
Excellent communication and high implementation and leadership skills
