We are looking for an experienced executive to assume overall responsibility for the operational areas of a manufacturer of high-precision machine tools. You will be responsible for assembly, production, procurement, logistics, and quality, driving the group-wide development of operations.

Your responsibilities

Overall responsibility for assembly
Overall responsibility for production
Overall responsibility for procurement
Overall responsibility for logistics
Overall responsibility for quality
Group-wide management and development of operations across multiple locations
Ensuring the efficient interaction of all operational areas along the value chain
Specific responsibility for the final assembly of complex machines
Harmonization of processes throughout the entire organization
Standardization of processes organization-wide
Identifying and implementing efficiency improvements
Introduction and implementation of structural improvements
Close collaboration with management and involvement in shaping the company's development

Your profile

Several years of experience in a comparable leadership role
Experience in roles such as COO, EVP Operations, or Head of Operations
Strong background in the manufacturing of complex capital goods
Experience in an environment with high manufacturing depth (e.g., mechanical engineering, machine tool construction, plant engineering, or similar)
Proven success in managing group-wide operations structures
Deep understanding of assembly processes for complex machines
Knowledge of the interfaces between assembly and procurement
Knowledge of the interfaces between assembly and logistics
Experience managing multiple locations
Experience in leading interdisciplinary teams.
Italian language skills are an advantage
Assertiveness and decisiveness with clear leadership skills
High operational presence and a strong hands-on mentality
Ability to create structures and develop organizations further
Down-to-earth, pragmatic, and solution-oriented working style
