In this position, you will take on the professional leadership of the tax department and be the central point of contact for all tax-related queries within the corporate group. You are responsible for handling tax matters (including VAT, current and deferred income taxes) and further developing tax documentation.

Your responsibilities

Calculation of value-added tax
Calculation of current income taxes
Calculation of deferred income taxes (UGB/IFRS)
Preparation of tax planning
Preparation of tax returns and tax balance sheets
Review of tax assessments
Timely processing of VAT returns and other taxes
Further development and maintenance of transfer pricing documentation
Communication with tax authorities
Coordination with tax advisors and auditors

Your profile

Completed degree in economics (focus on taxes/accounting is advantageous)
Several years of relevant professional experience (e.g., tax consultancy, tax administration, or in-house tax)
Initial leadership experience or clear motivation to take on leadership responsibility
In-depth knowledge of Austrian tax law
Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel
SAP knowledge is an advantage.
Experience with margin taxation is advantageous
