You assume overall responsibility for production in a three-shift operation. You manage processing and packaging, lead department heads, and drive optimization and investment projects.

Your responsibilities

Operational management of processing and packaging areas
Further development of production areas for processing and packaging
Responsibility for the production operation with a total of approximately 300 employees
Leadership and development of department heads
Ensuring effective leadership at all management levels
Operational security and stability of the 3-shift production
Ensuring production in line with quality, cost, and delivery deadlines
Management and planning of production capacities
Determination and planning of personnel needs in production
Monitoring and controlling relevant production indicators
Early detection and resolution of bottlenecks
Continuous optimization of processes, structures, and standards
Collaboration with supply chain for production coordination
Coordination and cooperation with the technical department
Coordination and cooperation with quality management

Your profile

Proven leadership experience
Several years of professional experience in production
Experience ideally in the food industry
Technical education with a production focus or comparable qualification
Experience in highly automated serial production
Experience in multi-shift operations
In-depth understanding of production processes
In-depth understanding of production indicators
Knowledge of relevant food standards (advantageous)
Knowledge of ERP systems (advantageous)
Calm and confident personality with decision-making strength under pressure
Ability to provide clear and appreciative leadership
Ability to develop employees and provide guidance
Pragmatic hands-on mentality
Analytical and forward-thinking mindset
